Have you ever seen the episode where Conan visits a Korean jjimjilbang with Steven Yeun? A lot of Koreans love that video.
(Jjimjil means heat therapy in English.) 🤗

Don’t be too shocked when you click the link! The show features scenes inside the sauna, so it might be a bit embarrassing to watch… haha.
But the fact is , Conan’s reactions are just so cute and funny — you can’t not laugh.
Not long ago, I went to a jjimjilbang with Bbap, and I was honestly surprised to see so many foreigners there, completely at ease and enjoying themselves. That moment inspired me to write this post — to introduce a jjimjilbang that’s perfect even for first-timers or anyone who might feel a bit unsure. This is a place where you can truly relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy a whole new kind of experience in Korea.
Ladies and gentlemen… welcome to Aquafield.

These photos show the actual interior of Aquafield’s jjimjilbang and were taken from the official website linked below.

Jjimjilbangs are connected to sauna facilities, and you can shower there — so make sure to wash up before getting into the hot bath!
Aquafield is located just outside of Seoul, with branches in the nearby cities of Hanam and Goyang.

Wondering how much it costs after hearing it’s “High-End”? Here’s a quick guide! It’s actually not that expensive if you’re just using the jjimjilbang. And when you pay for the jjimjilbang, access to the bathhouse comes included!
Alright, I think I’ve said enough about jjimjilbangs — now take a look at the photos below and see for yourself!

When you enter the jjimjilbang, you’ll be given an adorable set of spa clothes (no exceptions). Once you put on this outfit, you can sweat as much as you want — and that’s what makes it so comfortable!

The view from the Goyang branch is truly beautiful, with Bukhansan Mountain right in sight.
You know what? People actually go to jjimjilbangs for the food.
After a good sweat, sitting down to a delicious Korean meal is pure happiness.

Not sure what to eat? You can’t go wrong with the yukgaejang kalguksu — highly recommended! In korean, we say “존맛” ㅋㅋ.

During off-meal hours, you can just relax and hang out in the restaurant like this.

Be sure to grab some snacks at the kiosk!

The ultimate jjimjilbang classics are definitely smoked eggs and sikhye (sweet rice drink). There’s a reason why sikhye and smoked eggs are the go-to snacks in jjimjilbangs. After sweating it out, your body naturally craves something cold, sweet, and nourishing — and these two do the job perfectly.

Aquafield’s water park requires an additional fee. It’s not the most dynamic water park, so I wouldn’t strongly recommend it unless you’re visiting with family.
Still, we had a fun time there! It feels really clean and well-maintained.
If you enjoy being in the water, it might still be worth checking out.
That’s it for the second article from Bbapmoss!
This time, we explored another side of Korea — the world of jjimjilbangs.
If you’ve ever been curious about where fiery, passionate Koreans go to relax, Aquafield is the perfect place to experience it. Plus, since it’s located inside Starfield, there’s plenty of shopping to enjoy while you’re at it!
That’s all for now — see you next time! 😊
